From August 22 to 26, celebrate National Book Week with us at Your OSHC. Plus, join our read-a-thon happening between August 15 to 29.
Books inspire children. They fuel their imaginations and give them the courage to believe they can be whatever they want to be. Little Bookworms is a week filled with literary experiences. From its deep histories and expansive themes, to the protagonists and worlds that strike us with awe – this is one magical week that you won’t want to miss!

In remote communities across Australia, access to reading material is extremely limited and this impacts the achievements of the children in these communities. The Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) is a national community-led charity of the Australian Book Industry, working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander remote Communities across Australia to respond to requests from remote communities for culturally relevant books and resources to support communities to create and publish their stories in languages of their choice.
