National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day

Today marks National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day and the theme is: Proud in culture, strong in spirit. As an organisation within the Outside School Hours Care industry, we acknowledge the past and present generations who have cared for their children, instilling in them strong traditions. Our commitment is to extend upon the support provided by the many families and communities, offering an inclusive environment for all cultures to enjoy the experiences we offer.

To further demonstrate our commitment to the development and wellbeing of all children, we have been developing our Reconciliation Action Plan to ensure cultural awareness, respect and understanding across our services. We have submitted our RAP to Reconciliation Australia on this important day, and we look forward to communicating more on this soon.

Guiding children’s growth underpins all aspects of our work at Camp Australia and we are proud of our inclusive culture, which allows us to learn from all our communities. To read more, please visit www.campaustralia.com.au/blog.
