Let us Celebrate
When it comes to milestones this one is certainly worth celebrating! 30 years of OSHC at Camp Australia, I know that’s huge right! Three decades of service, where learning, growth, and fun have been at the heart of everything they do.
Envisioning the future and sparking creativity
As we look ahead to the next 30 years, Camp Australia are inviting children to dream big and use their boundless imaginations to think about their hopes and dreams for the future from flying cars to sustainable cities, the possibilities are endless! So, let’s take a closer look!
The Big Art Comp Term 3 - Celebrating 30 years
Where does your imagination take you, when you think of your hopes and dreams for the future 30 years from today? How old will you be? What will your life look like? Will you have pets, children? Be travelling the world, saving lives, growing vegetables, or fixing cars… who knows!
We would love you to have a think about it and use your wonderful imagination to create some artworks to share with us in The Big Art Comp. Would you like to see your artwork on your own hoodie? Well, that is what you could be walking away with if you win one of the 30 prizes in this term’s Big Art Comp!
Your hopes and dreams for the next 30 years: Imagine what the future could look like, what do you dream of?
Here are some thoughts to stir those imaginations, so get your pens and pencils ready:
- could it be your future self? What might you be wearing, what might you be doing, what technology might you be using?
- your future work? Where might it be located, what equipment might you be using, is it a job that already exists or a job you create?
- your future home? What shape could it be, where might it be located, how big would it be, what colours would it be, would it be on Earth?
- your future planet? Maybe you will find a new planet? If you did, what would it look like, what would be on it?
- your future car? What can your car do, what shape would your car be, what designs would it have on it?
- the future OSHC? Maybe you would like to design your dream future OSHC, what would it look like, what would they have there?
Tips from the Competition Judge (Me 😉)
- Use the entire space of the template.
- Colour is key for this comp, so use it.
- Keep your pencils sharp so you get more detailed lines.
- Try not to include weapons.
- Don’t rush your picture, take your time, and enjoy the process.
- If you can, head along to Big Art Fridays so you can get extra entries!
- Have fun and trust your creative mind!
So, get out those pens, use your creativity and imagination and show the world your true colours!
I cannot wait to see all those entries come through, good luck to you all!
